Three and a half months ago, I was recovering from foot surgery — my world had slowed to a crawl. I went from daily movement to limited mobility, from independence to asking for help again. It reminded me of those early days after my Rheumatoid Arthritis diagnosis — when everything felt uncertain, and my body seemed to have its own agenda.
Now, I’m back at the gym. Slowly. Gently. With gratitude for every step I can take.
That’s what my Facebook Lives are about — not perfection, but *progress.*
Each week, I go live to talk about the real side of healing with autoimmune disease: the small wins, the setbacks, and the courage it takes to keep showing up for yourself even when your body says, *“Not today.”*
🌿 Why I Go Live Each Week
When you live with a chronic illness, it’s easy to feel like your world has gotten smaller. Doctor appointments, flares, medications — it can start to feel like that’s all there is.
But I’ve learned something beautiful through my own healing: there’s still *so much life* left to live.
Going live each week helps me connect with women who are in that same space — figuring out who they are after diagnosis, learning how to listen to their bodies, and finding ways to live fully again.
I show up because I want you to know that healing isn’t linear — it’s layered, emotional, and sometimes downright messy. But it’s also sacred.
💬 What We Talk About
Each week, I bring one real-life topic to the table — something you can relate to, breathe through, and grow from.
*The Grief No One Talks About: Life After Diagnosis*
How to navigate the silent grief of losing the version of yourself you thought you’d always be — and rediscover the woman who’s emerging through it all.
💌 *The Power of the Patient Portal: Becoming Your Own Advocate*
How I learned to use the patient portal as a lifeline during tough seasons — to communicate clearly, track my care, and feel in control again.
🌸 *Boundaries, Burnout, and the Caregiver’s Heart*
For the women who pour from empty cups — how to protect your peace, say no with love, and give yourself permission to rest.
🌙 *One Step, One Flare, One Breath at a Time*
Simple mindset shifts that help you stay grounded when your body feels unpredictable — because sometimes, the bravest thing you can do is *pause.*
💖 What Makes These Conversations Different
These aren’t highlight reels — they’re heart talks.
I don’t speak *at* you, I sit *with* you. I share what’s real — the frustration of pain days, the fear of new medications, the joy of getting back to the gym, the gratitude for a good stretch or a good cry.
You’ll find a little faith, a lot of truth, and a deep reminder that you are not alone in this.
Because you deserve to live *with* your disease, not *for* it.
